“In the Heart of the Fields: A Farmer's Gaze”


In a world rushing towards urban chaos, there are places where time slows down — where wisdom is wrapped in soil-stained hands and stories are whispered by the wind that rustles through green fields.

This image was captured during my travel through a quiet village in Tamil Nadu, where I met this humble farmer tending to his paddy crops. His eyes carry decades of labor, hope, and resilience. The shadows behind him — ours — are a reminder that while we observe, it's they who truly live the story of the land.

The vibrant green of the paddy, the serene expression of the man, and the long shadows at sunset all came together in a poetic moment that I couldn’t let pass.

The sharp sun flare symbolizes the heat of resistance Gandhi carried, while the empty space reflects the silence of reflection that he always stood for.           Pondicherry is not just about streets and culture — it’s about stillness too.
